Victorian-inspired Decoupage Box Workshop

Wine Bottle Candle Holder Painting Workshop

Wine Bottle Candle Holder Painting Workshop

January 11, 2026, ~ 1:00-3:00 pm

A winter afternoon, a warm table, and something beautiful taking shape beneath your hands. ✂️

Join us for our Victorian-inspired Decoupage Box Workshop at our herbal tea shop, where we’ll be dressing papier-mâché boxes in layers of richly patterned, old-world papers—florals, filigree, and all the quiet romance the era does best. You’ll choose from a variety of box shapes and sizes, then settle in as your piece slowly becomes something worth keeping (or gifting, if you’re feeling generous).

This is the sort of craft that asks you to slow down. No rush, no noise—just steady hands, good company, and the gentle satisfaction of making something lovely on a wintery day. A perfect remedy for the winter doldrums, especially when paired with our handcrafted blends of herbal teas available at our spice and herb shop. It’s an even better excuse to spend a few unhurried hours together.

Come for the boxes. Stay for the calm. Leave with something beautiful—and a lighter spirit than when you arrived.

January 17, 2026, ~ 3:00-5:00 pm

An unhurried table, a handful of brushes, and a simple glass bottle waiting to become something more. 🕯️

Join us at our herbal tea shop for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where ordinary wine bottles are transformed into hand-painted candle holders designed for drip candles—pieces that grow richer and more beautiful with time and use. Guided by an experienced artist, you’ll work with layered color, pattern, and personal intention, allowing each bottle to develop its own quiet character. No two ever turn out the same, and that’s exactly the point.

This is the kind of making that invites you to slow your pace. There’s no rushing the brush, no pressure to be perfect—just the gentle rhythm of paint meeting glass, easy conversation, and the satisfaction of shaping something meant to be used again and again. When you leave, you’ll not only take home your one-of-a-kind candle holder, but also a boxed set of two drip candles—everything you need to get your bottle started and glowing at home.

Come for the creative pause, stay for the calm, and while you’re here, explore our handcrafted blends at the spice and herb shop. Leave with something beautiful, useful, and quietly alive with the memory of how it was made.

Victorian-inspired Writing Board Workshop

Wine Bottle Candle Holder Painting Workshop

The Rooted Path Finding Your Path in Practice, Purpose & Spirituality

January 18, 2026, ~ 1:00-3:00 pm

Create your own 19th-century writing board 📜—a practical tool used throughout the late 1800s, when writing happened wherever life did. Before desks were common and notebooks had sturdy covers, these flat boards provided a firm surface for letters, lists, receipts, and quick notes, protecting pages from ink bleed and steadying the hand—at shop counters, in carriages, or by lamplight at the kitchen table.

In this hands-on workshop at our herbal tea shop, you’ll make a vintage-inspired writing board designed for real use, lined with carefully chosen paper and subtle stamping to keep the surface smooth and functional. Join us for a few unhurried hours to craft something useful, grounding, and quietly beautiful meant to be reached for often, not tucked away. You might even enjoy some handcrafted blends from our spice and herb shop while you work!

The Rooted Path Finding Your Path in Practice, Purpose & Spirituality

January 24, 2026, ~ 1:00-3:00 pm

This is a welcoming space for those exploring faith, spirituality, and what comes next when the answers feel unsettled. We sit together in honest conversation about building a spiritual life that feels steady, real, and true to who you are—without pressure, performance, or pretense.

When the questions start to feel too heavy to carry alone, and the world offers too many versions of what a spiritual life should look like, this gathering offers room to breathe and sort out what feels honest, much like selecting from our handcrafted blends at the herbal tea shop, designed to soothe the soul.

Whether you’re drawn toward faith, personal practice, old family traditions, or something you can’t yet name, you are welcome. You don’t need a plan. You don’t need the right words. Curiosity is enough.

We’ll talk openly about belief and lived practice, how faith and spirituality may meet or stand apart, and how to find direction and belonging without labels. Just as in our spice and herb shop, where each blend is unique, so too is your journey.

This is not a space for grandstanding, proving anything, or spiritual showmanship—only honest presence. Just real people, thoughtful conversation, and care in how we hold one another.

The Annual Unburdening Workshop

The Rooted Path Finding Your Path in Practice, Purpose & Spirituality

The Annual Unburdening Workshop

January 25, 2026, ~ 3:00-5:00 pm

Join us for the Unburdening Workshop, our annual gathering devoted to release. It is a time set aside to face what has been carried quietly—grief, sorrow, long-held hurt, or the simple exhaustion of holding too much—and to allow some of that weight to be laid down.

This work asks for presence rather than explanation. It unfolds at a steady pace, giving room for reflection and honest release without needing to be spoken aloud or shaped into a story. There is relief in that simplicity, in letting the work be what it is without commentary or expectation.

As we gather, consider enhancing your experience with our handcrafted blends from our herbal tea shop. The soothing aromas and flavors can complement the emotional purging process, aiding in the release of sadness, trauma, or long-held distress. When the workshop comes to a close, people often notice a change that is hard to name but easy to feel. What remains is a sense of letting go, making room for healing to begin, much like how our spice and herb shop offers the right ingredients to enrich your life. Join us in this transformative journey.

Imbolc: Making of Brigid's Cross

The Rooted Path Finding Your Path in Practice, Purpose & Spirituality

The Annual Unburdening Workshop

February 1, 2026, ~ 2:00-4:00 pm

Join us for the making of the four-armed Brigid’s Cross, a tradition woven deep into Irish hearth culture and practiced as the light begins its return.

Traditionally made from reeds or straw, the Brigid’s Cross is hung in the home to invite protection, steadiness, and blessings for the year ahead. At our herbal tea shop, we celebrate this tradition alongside our handcrafted blends that promote wellness and balance.

Saint Brigid comes to us from early Ireland, carried from the old ways into Christian tradition without losing her roots. Keeper of the flame, guardian of the home, and patron of creativity, healing, and daily labor, she stands at the meeting place of hearth and faith.

Imbolc marks preparation and readiness. Making a Brigid’s Cross is a quiet act of setting the home in order, done with steady hands and old knowledge—much like how we curate our spice and herb shop to ensure the finest quality for our community.

We will gather, learn the history, and weave with intention—each cross made to be taken home and hung where protection and blessing are welcome.

Quiet. Rooted. Just as it has always been.
